ROSE[mdash] Donna M. (Chappell) of Portage, Pa., died September 13, 2025, at her home. Born January 7, 1950, in Johnstown, Pa., daughter of the late William L. and Geraldine (Smay) Chappell. Preceded in death by husband, Harry Rose, and brothers, Bernard, Ross, and Eugene. Survived by daughter, Tammy Trybus (husband Jack), and 3 grandchildren, Jacob (wife Lizzy) Cody (wife Murphy) and Kyle (fiancé Rachelle). Survived by sisters, Gloria Lee (husband Vernon), Brenda Rummell (husband Butch), Diane Madison (Scott), and brother, William J. Chappell (wife Ellen), and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no services per Donna's request. Donations can be made to local SPCA in her name as she had a great love of animals, especially her cats.
