SALEM[mdash] Jean Mae (Leone), 97, Geistown, passed away Sept. 17, 2025, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Aug. 16, 1928, in Hooversville, daughter of the late Patsy R. and Emma (DiFrancesco) Leone. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth G. Sale; brother, Joseph R. Leone; sister, Nancy P. DeMarco; nephew, Ericallen Grandas; and her beloved Schnauzer, "Heaven Sent Angel Mia." Survived by sister, Eileen P. Grandas, Hooversville; brother-in-law, Emilio DeMarco; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Trefts and Nancy Salem; godson, Rick Burk, and wife, Sharon; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and a great-grand-niece and great-grand-nephews. Jean was a 1946 graduate of Hooversville High School. She retired from Bestform Foundations with 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Jon Estes, chaplain from Arbutus Park Manor, officiating.
