Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta) is coming to select, internet-connected vehicles, allowing passengers to stream and play games directly from the Xbox app. Microsoft made the announcement in an Xbox Wire post on September 9, 2025, revealing that cars utilizing LG’s webOS Automotive Content Platform (ACP) will be able to access Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta). An automotive data plan, internet connection, and an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription are required to access Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming. In the post, Chris Lee, vice president of Xbox marketing, said that "all services operate in compliance with driving safety regulations." He continued: "Our work with LG is the latest example of Xbox expanding to new places, building on partnerships that already bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to mobile devices, PCs, and TVs.
