UKIE has launched Interactive Entertainment Scotland (IES), a new, dedicated Scottish body designed to "champion the country's rapidly growing games sector." "Scotland has always been a vital part of the UK's games success story," said Nick Poole, CEO of UKIE. "The launch of Interactive Entertainment Scotland recognises the sector's maturity and importance north of the border. IES will focus on supporting business growth, attracting investment to Scotland, and developing talent pipelines through partnerships with universities and colleges. "I look forward to working closely with Interactive Entertainment Scotland to build even further on these remarkable achievements."
