Balatro publisher Playstack has published its interim results, revealing that its revenue more than doubled year-on-year (YoY) in the first half of 2025. The results, which were published as part of its parent company TruFin's interim report, showed that Playstack's revenue for the first half of 2025 increased 52% YoY, from £20.2 million ($27.3 million) in 2024 to £30.7 million ($41.5 million) in 2025. Playstack also revealed that its poker-themed roguelike, Balatro, and survival game, Abiotic Factor, sold over three million units combined in the first half of 2025. Following an early access launch in May 2024, Abiotic Factor 1.0 released on July 22, 2025, with Playstack stating its performance in the second half of 2025 is driven by this launch. "It's great to get reinforcement of the sorts of games we look for and the strategy we've set out on."
