Terence “Bud” Crawford was ordered out of his car at gunpoint by police during a traffic stop on Saturday night. Chief Schmaderer has authorized an internal affairs investigation. The driver was later identified as Mr. Crawford upon verification of his driver’s license and was issued a citation for reckless driving. Mayor Ewing issued a separate statement:I learned Omaha police pulled over Terence “Bud” Crawford on a traffic stop downtown early this morning. After learning of this, I spoke personally to Bud Crawford.
