GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, MI — About two dozen family members waited anxiously Sunday afternoon to be reunited with those involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shooting. Ten people were shot at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4285 McCandlish Road, Grand Blanc Township police said on Sunday, Sept. 28. Hundreds were in attendance when chaos unfolded at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc when a man rammed his vehicle through a church and began shooting at those inside. The suspect, a 40-year-old Burton man, was fatally shot after exchanging gunfire with Grand Blanc Township police. The Grand Blanc Township Police Department put out a statement noting the families of the victims can call 248-705-7352 if they are looking for family.
