It was the defense and special teams that carried the Detroit Lions to victory against the Cleveland Browns. After letting Browns quarterback Joe Flacco complete all five passes for 70 yards on the 88-yard scoring drive, they responded perfectly. The Lions held the Browns to a short field goal to keep the lead at 20-10 midway through the third quarter. And the Lions quarterback kept going back to the electric wide receiver. Amon-Ra St. Brown’s second touchdown of the day put the Browns away for good after that recovered fumble.
