Irving would make up for his blunder four plays later with a 72 yard touchdown grab from Baker Mayfield to get his team right back into the game, cutting the Eagles lead to 11, 31-20 after three quarters of play. Chase McLaughlin’s 58 yard field goal made it a one score game early in the final quarter, 31-23. McLaughlin also hit a 65 yard field goal at the second quarter gun. Then they held off the Bucs one last time with just under a minute left at midfield forcing Tampa to turn the ball over on downs. Two turnovers and a punt block returned for a score was the difference as the Eagles move to a perfect 4-0 and are back home next weekend to host the Denver Broncos.
