PENDLETON — Bank of Eastern Oregon branches are collecting canned and nonperishable food and clothing in honor of Oregon Community Bank Week. BEO in a press release announced the following branches are participating:The Athena branch is collecting canned food for the Athena Christian Church Food Bank. The Boardman branch is collecting canned food for the Boardman Food Pantry. Branches will serve refreshments during Oregon Community Bank Week, held annually in October. The Bank of Eastern Oregon community bank serves 18 rural areas in Oregon with branches and lending services.
