The NSPCC is consulting on a move that would shrink its workforceA leading children’s charity has announced that up to 250 jobs are at risk. The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) is proposing to reduce employee numbers by 15.5%. An NSPCC spokesperson said: “The NSPCC has a proud history of protecting children in the UK but like many other charities, we have not been immune to the challenges facing our sector. “We understand how difficult this will be for those affected, along with the impact on the wider NSPCC family. “Everyone that works for, volunteers with and supports the NSPCC does so to change the lives of children, protecting them from abuse and neglect.
