Manifesto launched by leading charityPoliticians are being urged to take action to tackle the “national childhood emergency” in a bid to protect children and safeguard childhood. Children First has launched its manifesto for the next Scottish Government to deliver a raft of recommendations to help support children and families. These include: whole family support to tackle child poverty and give every family the emotional, practical and financial support they need. The charity’s manifesto was developed based on the needs and concerns of the children, young people and families Children First supports. We know from our experience of supporting children and families across the country that change is possible.
