Ghana defeated Tunisia 4:0 on aggregate to progress to the next round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers. Mercy Attobrah scored the first goal in the 37th minute after the Princesses missed early chances to go ahead. Head Coach Charles Sampson made substitutions in the second half which yielded results when Agnes Yeboah scored the second goal with her first touch in the 46th minute. Ghana created numerous chances but couldn’t find the back of the net as the resolute defense of Tunisia denied them on several occasions. The result gives Ghana a 4:0 aggregate advantage over the two legs to progress to the third round of the competition.
