Nicole BlevinsMountain State Spotlight is pleased to welcome Nicole Blevins to the reporting team for 10 weeks this fall. Blevins is a 2025 graduate from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Her work for the Indiana Daily Student placed first in the 2025 Hearst Journalism Awards Personality/Profile category for her story highlighting a DACA recipient during the months before the 2024 election. Blevins was also a finalist for the 2025 Hearst Writing Championships. Blevins’ internship is made possible through the support of The Scripps Howard Fund.
