The TCL Tab 8 NXTPAPER 5G is a tablet with an 8.7 inch, 1340 x 800 pixel, 90 Hz display, a MediaTek MT8755 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. With a $200 price tag, it’s a relatively affordable alternative to something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11. Another is that it’s the first 8(ish) inch tablet to feature TCL’s NXTPAPER 4.0 technology. The tablet ships with Android 15 (and no promise of future updates), and it measures 8.34 x 4.94″ x 0.33″ and weighs 12.52 ounces. Currently available in the US exclusively from Verizon, the TCL Tab8 NXTPAPER 5G costs $200 if you buy it outright, but you can also spread that out over 3 years by paying $5.55 per month.
