In a release made available to www.newsmirrorng.com, the groups unequivocally said, they stand in solidarity with Dangote Refinery in it’s efforts to protect investments, ensure operational safety and security at their facility and protect that of others in the oil industry. The group therefore, admonished the Management and staff of Dangote Refinery to respect the decision of the Board of Management and work towards ensuring the smooth operation of the refinery, to the benefiary of Nigerians. “As volunteers who support and pray for Dangote Refinery, we are willing to provide escorts for Dangote products from Refinery to their destinations to ensure the safe transportation and prevent potential sabotage”. They drew reference to section 40 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as enshrined, stressing that they are at liberty to associate and support Dangote investment as patriotic citizens.
