Share this: TweetWhatsAppRwandan peacekeepers serving under UNMISS; both Army and Police; together with members of the Rwandan community (Diaspora) in South Sudan, have once again joined efforts to rehabilitate Kapuri Primary School after it was severely damaged by heavy rainfall. One of the school blocks lost its roof during the rains, forcing students to crowd into the remaining classrooms. In addition to the renovation, they carried out community work (Umuganda) alongside local residents, school staff, and students. The school also received solar panels and a new 5,000-litre water tank to improve access to energy and clean water. The PTA will always remain grateful to the Rwandan community for their consistent support towards the education of our children.” (End)
