Fall 2022 Update: Keeping UTD Safe from COVID-19, Monkeypox
[]
News Center
Everyone at UT Dallas has worked hard preparing for the beginning of a new semester.
As part of this effort, the University community health response team continues to monitor current public health conditions closely and to make decisions that best protect our campus community.
The Public Health Emergency declared by the CDC and Dallas County public health authorities associated with cases of monkeypox remains in effect.
Monkeypox symptoms are similar to smallpox symptoms, but milder, and monkeypox is rarely fatal.
If you do become ill, follow current CDC guidance for your specific situation and report your positive COVID-19 diagnosis via the UT Dallas self-report form (English or Spanish).
