The European Parliament has opened a permanent office in Kyiv, marking a clear political and practical step in its cooperation with Ukraine. The office, co-located with the EU Delegation, demonstrates that support for Ukraine goes beyond statements. A permanent presence allows for daily engagement with the Verkhovna Rada and closer monitoring of the reforms linked to EU membership. Establishing a permanent base in Kyiv also sends a strategic message: Europe will maintain its support despite the ongoing war. For Ukraine, it underlines that integration with the EU is not a distant goal but a process supported on the ground, every day.
