Interoperability is critical to the Alliance’s cybersecurity efforts as it enables architecting AI solutions that can work across multiple allies and models. NATO’s AI strategy should also integrate stronger political messaging, ensuring decision-makers understand the strategic importance, ethical use, and deterrence effects of AI technologies in military contexts.
