Zheng joins three other Naveen Jindal School of Management faculty members who previously earned the honor. Dr. Hasan Pirkul, Caruth Chair and Jindal School dean, received the award in 2012; and Dr. Vijay Mookerjee and Dr. Sumit Sarkar, both professors of information systems, won it in 2011 and 2013, respectively. Mookerjee holds the Charles and Nancy Davidson Distinguished Chair in Information Systems, and Sarkar holds the Charles and Nancy Davidson Distinguished Chair in Operations Management. From 2017 to 2023, Zheng served as a senior editor for Information Systems Research, and since 2024, he has been a senior editor for MIS Quarterly. Albrecht, who has been a lecturer in the Jindal School since 2018, serves as the executive vice president of special interest groups for the AMA chapter.
