This #SciArtSeptember art prompt (that I’m using shamelessly as a writing cue instead) is about tessellation, which I’m once again drawing inspiration from retrocomputers to discuss. This leads to the reasonable question: why not a regular BILLY bookcase, or another set of shelves from some other retailer? Or even one you made yourself, if you don’t live in an apartment and have access to power tools? I expect I’m learning the hard way what retail staff have to contend with in their stores. …I’ll admit, this was one of my more tenuous #SciArtSeptember posts, but you can tell this was on my mind again today.
