By night, it transforms into a glowing beacon, earning its poetic moniker as a “lantern in the woods.” This is Iside, the latest masterpiece from iHouse estudio that challenges conventional notions of what a forest home can be. The architects at iHouse estudio approached this project with a clear vision: create a retreat that doesn’t impose itself on the landscape but rather becomes part of it. This nocturnal metamorphosis gives the home its distinctive character and creates an almost mystical presence in the forest. Traditional cabin design often emphasizes separation from the outdoors through solid walls and small windows, but iHouse estudio flipped this approach entirely.
