The Ilwaco Lady Fishermen soccer team opened the season with a 4-0 non-league victory over Warrenton on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Peterson Field, in Ilwaco. The Lady Fishermen (2-1) were led by forward Piper Johnson (18), who scored three goals in the win over Astoria. Piper (18) has a team-high four goals for the Lady Fishermen so far this season.
