This 1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic Series 98 two-door Club sedan was purchased by its prior owner in Santa Ana, California, in 1976 and later relocated to Campbell, California, where the car was parked on blocks in the owner’s garage for the next 47 years. This Futuramic Series 98 project is now offered by the seller on behalf of the current owner at no reserve with a clean California title. Originally delivered in Silver Gray, the car is one of 20,049 two-door fastback Club Sedans produced on the 98 range for the model year. It has partially been repainted primer gray as part of an abandoned refurbishment begun in the 1970s, and exterior details include bright rear fender guards, rear fender skirts, and an antenna. The rear badging, trunk lock, and trunk handle are missing.
