This 1999 Porsche Boxster underwent an EV conversion by Bisimoto Engineering in Ontario, California, before it was acquired by the seller on BaT in March 2023. Subsequent work by Bisimoto Engineering is said to have included replacing the batteries, adding a fast-charging system, and updating the Orion BMS 2 battery management system. Finished in Arctic Silver over Boxster Red leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 16-kWh lithium-ion battery pack connected to a Tesla-sourced motor and single-speed transaxle. This 986 Boxster EV is now offered with a Carfax report and a clean California title. The bucket seats are trimmed in Boxster Red leather and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, roll hoops, door panels, and carpets.
