Police are advising motorists to please avoid Chilwell Lane in Bramcote following a serious collision. The road has been closed and is expected to remain shut for some time after reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike around 10.10am today (Sunday 28 September 2025). A spokesperson said:‘We would ask any drivers to please avoid the area and take an alternate route if possible. ‘Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 197 of 28 September 2025.’AA Roadwatch said:‘Road closed due to serious crash, a car and a motorbike involved on Chilwell Lane both ways from Bramcote Lane to Town Street. The closure remains in place since around 10:00 this morning and is expected to remain in place for some time.’
