Brent Tracy Snyder, 65, Naples, Florida, formerly from Collierville, Tennessee, soared to heaven on the wings of an eagle Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, leaving a void that can never be filled. He was born to the late Yolanda C. Snyder and Ronald Snyder. Brent attended Taylor High School (Kokomo, Indiana) 1975-1976, Collierville High School (Collierville, Tennessee) in 1977, and graduated in 1978. He graduated from Memphis State University in 1988. Brent retired from AOC in Collierville, Tennessee, as a Production Scheduler in 2021. Through his journey of 65 years, he never met a stranger and touched so many lives. He loved God, his family, his church community and his friends, old and new. He loved golf, fishing, family gatherings, his cowboy boots and hats. "Once a country boy, always a country boy." He was a true southern gentleman. Brent was active in Boy Scouts of America (now known as Scouting America) as a youth in Indiana, and for 17 years as an adult leader in the Chickasaw Council as an Assistant Scout Master for troop 48. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church (Eads, Tennessee) and Cornerstone United Methodist Church (Naples, Florida). He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Snyder, brother, Scott Snyder; son, Ryan (Kimberly) Snyder; son, Zachary (Hillary) Newman; granddaughter, Graysbee Harper Newman; mother-In-law, Marlene Long; sister-In-law, Janet (Larry) Cowell; niece, Caitlin (Nicole) Spangler; nephew, Jeremy (Jen) Schaeffer; nephew, Josh (Megan) Schaeffer; cousin, Debbie (Gill) Berry; cousin, Dave (Sandy) Berry; cousin, Dan (Rita) Berry; along with his many loving family and friends. Brent will be greatly missed and forever remembered. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Gelene Snyder; son, Taylor Snyder; grandparents, Cleata and Paul H. Berry; aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Paul Berry; father-In-law, Robert Long; and sister-In-law, Susan Spangler. The Celebration of Brent's Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at 10 a.m., located at Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 8200 Immokalee Road, Naples, FL.
