Maureen Onwunali is poet in residence at this year’s Milton Keynes International Festival. One of the exciting young poets developed through The Poetry Society’s Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award, Maureen Onwunali is premiering a new commission, Utopia in Verse, written for the festival with support from centre:mk, as part of two special events. At 7pm Maureen collaborates with other new artists in the Utopia in Verse poetry jam in the breathtaking immersive environment of the Terceradix installation. Utopia in Verse speaks to radical hope, collective liberation and the audacity to imagine the world other than it is.
