A person continues to be barricaded inside a 7-Eleven in a standoff that began overnight in the Long Beach area. Officers with the Long Beach Police Department and the SWAT team are surrounding a 7-Eleven located on West Broadway and Pine Avenue. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe standoff began shortly after 2 a.m. and as of 6 a.m., it was still ongoing. A K-9 and BearCat were seen outside the building as authorities continued asking the person to surrender. It was not clear if employees or customers were in the area when the standoff began.
