NBC 7 anchor Monica Dean has been named to the Silver Circle by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Pacific Southwest chapter. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREMary Ellen Eagleston, a production operator at NBC 7, also was honored with the award. Dean is a multiple-Emmy award-winning anchor of NBC 7's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts. She is also the station's streaming anchor, hosting and reporting multiple special reports for NBC San Diego News. One journalist was named to NATAS' Gold Circle, recognizing 50 years of television excellence: Lee Swanson of San Diego’s KGTV.
