Shelter-in-place lifted after chemical mix-up prompts hazmat call in Spring Valley

A shelter-in-place order was issued Monday afternoon in the Spring Valley area due to a hazmat incident that caused a gas cloud, officials said.
WATCH HERE WATCH HEREDuring the shelter-in-place order, which was lifted just before 2 p.m., residents within the boundaries were asked to remain indoors with shut and locked doors and windows.
No official evacuation order was issued, but the incident did cause the sheriff's department to go door-to-door to evacuate some businesses and residents.
At least one person appeared to be receiving medical attention and an ambulance could be seen arriving at the scene.
The shelter-in-place order was activate within the following boundaries before it was lifted just before 2 p.m.:Zone ID: SDC-2153 NORTH OF Via Lampara SOUTH OF Jamacha Boulevard, Trace Road EAST OF Jamacha Boulevard, 10th Street WEST OF Wagon Wheel CourtThe following streets were also previously closed, according to Genasys Protect:
