ACCORD, N.Y. — Nassau Community College pulled off a 4-2 upset win over seventh-ranked SUNY Ulster in a Region XV men’s soccer game at Rondout Valley High on Saturday, Sept. 27. The Senators (6-2-1) trailed 2-1 at the half with their only goal coming from North Rockland High product Mohamed Fadl in the 42nd minute. SUNY Ulster tied it at 2-2 early in the second half when Ellenville High’s Matt Urquia beat the keeper on an assist from Caleb Nicolas of Washingtonville. SUNY Ulster created some good scoring opportunities in the second half, but couldn’t find the back of the net. SUNY Ulster had a 5-3 edge on corners.
