Police and paramedics were called to an address in Burnley on Sunday June 15 this year after 35-year-old Simon Palmer was found dead. Simon's dad and sister had gone to his home after they had been unable to contact him which they described as "unusual". At an inquest held at Accrington Town Hall on Friday September 26, which heard Simon had a history of mental health issues, a coroner ruled Simon's death was a suicide.
