The girl was allegedly abducted by the suspect, who had been standing behind her at one of the banks. The family reported the incident to the police and took the girl to the hospital for treatment. However, the suspect was arrested by personnel of the Amadi Police Division in synergy with security personnel of a commercial bank around Mothercat. Consequently, a medical examination report showed that the hymen of the teenage girl was broken as a result of the assault.
