Hundreds of North Texas students will spend the day exploring science, technology, engineering, and math at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science as part of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ annual STEM Fest. Organizers say the annual STEM Fest is designed to fuel imagination while preparing students for success after high school. Organizers say they selected specific schools for STEM Fest, that otherwise wouldn't have access to such opportunities. Another STEM Fest is planned at the Perot Museum for Dallas ISD students in October. STEM Fest is part of United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ 100th anniversary celebration, marking a century of efforts to improve education, income, and health across North Texas.
