Zenith wraps deep drilling in Queensland as assays head to lab
['Bill Mcconnell']
Sydney Morning Herald - Business
Zenith Minerals has put a full stop on this year’s deep diamond push at the company’s Red Mountain gold project in Queensland.
Core from a third and final hole, completed to about 584 metres with a priority interval, has already been couriered to the lab for fast-tracked assays.
Zenith is poised to report a pipeline of numbers over the coming weeks as it zeroes in on an intrusion-related gold system with scale.
Zenith Minerals is now awaiting fresh assays from drilling at its Red Mountain project in Qld where previous results included a spectacular 139.7m hit at 1.05 grams per tonne.
That’s precisely the sort of textural and geochemical signposts Zenith has used to prosecute its Mt Wright-style intrusive-related gold system (IRGS) model at depth.
