The Committee found that, Remo Stars FC failed to provide adequate and effective security, in that after the match Remo Stars FC supporters attacked the away team (Ikorodu City FC) supporters with dangerous weapons which resulted into injury to some away team supporters and damage to their team bus.
The Committee found that the supporters of Remo Stars FC threw objects into the field of play which resulted in the stoppage of the match twice.
The Committee found that the supporters of Remo Stars FC exhibited conducts capable of bringing the game to disrepute.
3 and 4 of the Summary Jurisdiction Notice form 16, therefore set aside, having been taken care of in Sanction Nos.
7 in the Summary Jurisdiction (Form 16) and upholds the decision in its entirety.
