Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested in Los Angeles where he was covering the Grammy Awards, according to a statement released by Lemon’s attorney, Abbe Lowell. Don will fight these charges vigorously and thoroughly in court,” Lowell’s statement concluded. DECIDER reached out to representatives for Lemon for comment, but did not hear back by time of publication. However, the Associated Press reported on Jan. 22 that a magistrate judge had rejected the case for charges to be made against Lemon. Lemon was fired by CNN in 2023, but has continued his work as a journalist independently outside of the network.
