Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash closed part of the A93 in Aberdeenshire for a number of hours on Thursday. The two-vehicle incident took place at about 3.40pm on January 29, next to the heritage Royal Deeside Railway on the road between Aberdeen and Banchory. The road, to the west of Crathes, reopened yesterday evening. ‘Two people were taken to hospital’A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At around 3.40pm on Thursday January 29, we received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on the A93, west of Crathes in Aberdeenshire. “Emergency services attended and two people were taken to hospital as a precaution.”
