The union sent a proposal about four weeks ago, but the league has yet to respond. In fact, they don't think they have to respond because they're waiting for a more realistic proposal, according to a report from ESPN. “It’s not a constructive way to continue on these negotiations, especially considering the timeline that we’re in,” Ogwumike said via Front Office Sports. “I don’t think we’re being pressured because of the timeline at the expense of what we’re really trying to negotiate,” Ogwumike said.
