By Suleman ChiteraMinister of Education, Bright Msaka, has announced that Malawi is set to begin printing national examinations locally after putting in place stringent security measures to safeguard the integrity of the examinations.
Msaka made the remarks on Thursday during a visit to the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), where he toured the institution to appreciate preparations for this year’s national examinations.
Printing exams locally will enhance control, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, but security remains our top priority,” Msaka said.
“We have already started printing student ID cards, and the printing of examinations is scheduled to commence this coming February,” Nampota said.
The move to print examinations locally is expected to mark a significant milestone in Malawi’s education sector, reducing reliance on external printers and reinforcing public confidence in the national examination system.
