A blanket of wintery white is currently dazzling visitors to a Gloucestershire gardens as millions of snowdrops have bloomed in Painswick. The famous snowdrops are back at Rococo Gardens in Painswick, with the beautiful blanket of the winter flowers being one of the site's main attractions each year. Rococo Gardens is home to more than five millions snowdrops with a total of 15 different varieties, including the striking Galanthus 'Atkinsii' which can grow up to 30cm tall and was first discovered at the Gardens by an estate worker in the 1860s. Amy Taylor, Garden Director at Painswick Rococo Gardens, said: "It's such a special time here for us, and it really brings us so much joy to see how special [the snowdrops] are to other people.
