A senior woman was killed in an early-morning fire at a Brooklyn apartment building on Friday. The FDNY said the inferno ignited inside 35 Winthrop St. in Prospect Lefferts Gardens just after 12:50 a.m. on Jan. 30. The Fire Department said the blaze broke out on the fourth floor of the six-story structure. Approximately 21 units, including 79 firefighters and EMS units, responded to the incident, along with officers from the 71st Precinct. During a search, firefighters located the victim, an 81-year-old woman, inside a fourth-floor apartment, unconscious and unresponsive, and removed her from the building.
