Officers have launched an investigation into the report and the dog believed to have carried out the attack has been identified. ‌A Throckley resident, who does not want to be named, told Chronicle Live, the woman was walking her dog when another dog appeared from nowhere. It was reported that a woman was walking her dog in the area when the unaccompanied dog has attacked the woman and her dog – causing injuries to the woman’s hand. “Officers have launched an investigation into the report and the dog believed to have carried out the attack has been identified, with safeguarding measures put in place."
