The Reform UK leader was seen entering Hibou Blanc, on High Bridge, for a private function shortly after noon. ‌After he was inside Hibou Blanc, some people were seen shouting outside the bar's other entrance on the Bigg Market and hitting its shutters as they were being closed. ‌The Reform leader arrived in Newcastle having been on the campaign trail in Greater Manchester earlier in the morning, ahead of the Gorton and Denton by-election triggered by the resignation of former MP Andrew Gwynne.
