ROYERSFORD — With a unanimous vote Thursday, the Spring-Ford Area School District Board of School Directors appointed Dr. Jay Burkhart as Spring-Ford’s new Superintendent of Schools. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Superintendent for the East Pennsboro Area School District. “I am honored to join the Spring-Ford Area School District as the next Superintendent of Schools. He and his wife, Emily, will be joining the Spring-Ford community this spring. “We welcome Dr. Burkhart to Spring-Ford and look forward to his leadership,” School Board President Abby Deardorff said in the release.
