Amarillo Zoo Closed On SaturdayIf you were planning on hitting up the Amarillo Zoo this weekend, Sunday will be the only day you can do so. The Amarillo Zoo said its weather policy prevents it from opening when temperatures drop below freezing. However, looking at the hourly temps for Saturday, it isn't supposed to get over freezing temperatures until the 2 pm hour, which is simply too late for the zoo to open its doors.
