Under the Climate FORTH programme, communities around the river are implementing plans to safeguard heritage and prepare for the impacts of climate change. Kincardine, however, has had to pause its chosen activities due to the unexpected closure of the community centre last year. Due to the current closure, alternative actions are now being developed and the community will be invited to vote on the new options. These plans aim to make heritage assets more resilient and empower communities to lead climate adaptation efforts. The Climate FORTH programme will share lessons learned with other communities interested in similar approaches.
