An unusual security incident was recorded this morning (Friday) in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip. At approximately 5:30a.m., IDF forces operating in the area identified a cell of terrorists emerging from an underground shaft. According to the report, the terrorists were apparently on their way to carry out a terror attack against Israeli forces operating in the area. The IDF Spokesperson stated:During the night, forces from Unit 414 identified eight terrorists who emerged from underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah. Immediately after identification, the Air Force, directed by Gaza Division (143) forces, struck and eliminated three of the terrorists.
